Default ABS bracket on steering knuckle

I have the EVO C gussets now welded in place. I noticed that the bracket that holds the ABS line inder the bolt of the upper ball joint is bending as it hits the gusset in a severe turn. The other side is positioned to be ok.

Question
- is it ok to loosen slightly the ball hoint castle nut and reposition the bracket and then tighten it back to its original location with the cotter pin?
