Default ac question?

i am going to take me jeep to a dealer today and hope i still have a warranty on the ac unit sibce i have a hemi.

so here is my BIG question...drove the other morning to do a hike when i noticed water dripping very fast underneath. the area was around the drivers side behind the engine well.

panic set in as it was 4am and went home and on my driveway water was dripping again. mind you this was not the usual amount that drips out when i use ac.

upon opening the hood i noticed no leaks and after the engine cooled i opened the radiater and it was filled to the top.

i have read post about the ac being so so and since i bought my jeep it has been one of those things you forget. "yes i live in az"!

the one thing i noticed was my unit was really cold and more so since i owned it....

what i would like to know is there any ac lines that run way below engine level. the line on top seemed ok and were very cold when i touched them...and my second question is the water that came out was clear h20...i would assume the it would be have an anti freeze color or feel but then i could be wrong. correct me if i am wrong but does ac use the same liquid from the radiator.

just looking for some answers before i go to the dealer and argue that that the hemi has nothing to do with it.

A/c refrigerant is only a liquid when under pressure. When it leaks, it leaks as a gas into the atmosphere. Any liquid coming from your a/c system would be condensation from the air being cooled, either inside the a/c ducts, or on the refrigerant lines and other components under the hood. Good luck.

Depending on heat and humidity it may condense more. Like right now I know were getting the monsoon crap so my jeep is like me, sweating like a pig. The only thing that I would worry about is to much pressure in the system but there is a blow off valve on the compressor. So if your ac gets really really cold then suddenly get hot and won't get cold I would bet you are having issues regulating pressure before the orifice valve.
