Thanks for the advice. Now that I figured out which sliders I want now I have to find good seat covers...Esp since I have kids and a dog. You guys have any wisdom you'd like to share on this?

Default had them on my sport in 2011

they were good & solid but had a bad powder coat on my set ,
I really wish they had been perfect cuz i liked them and the appearance but i had to return them , and didnt risk buying another set, after waiting for the first set.

They seem to get good reviews i guess i just didnt get so lucky

My powder coat flaked off too. Real disappointing.

TREK ARMOR seat covers great product great fit!!
I had the ACE sliders on my JKU for 3 years and they were great.... Took some good hits in Moab and Rausch Creek....... I recently sold them and i'm getting the weld on EVO's put on my jeep in a couple weeks..... I've been playing on rocks more and more and I did notice they started flexing into my pinch seam..... So I think the EVO's will serve me better ....... If you're not going to be playing on rocks I think they're a great product for the price...... Great little step too for putting up and down the soft top if you're shorter like myself.

Also have had the Ace sliders on mine for a couple years. Wanted to keep my rubi rails also so it was a double win. Easy install and they've held up great. Only "complaint" I could say is during the winter any water on them makes them freeze up and they don't exactly work as a step. My father-in-law drove my Jeep for a week and fell victim to it. I'm sure the same could be said for other I just don't have experience with any.

The one thing i did when i bought mine , was to add rubber grip to them . A easy fix however you can see in the joint area they were turning green
due to powdercoat issue . It was doing that in several areas both rails . Prob could have bed lined them but they were brand new . I returned them\

but the rubber strip did make them slip resistant .

Call Northridge 4x4. They have been good with the shipping to Oahu. Definitely cheaper than getting them at 4wheel parts with their markup plus no taxes. As far as seat covers go get the Trek Armor. They seem to hold up best to the Hawaiian sun and weather.

I have had these on my 2 door for a couple years, they serve there purpose but they did crush my pinch seam so I bought rubi rails. I don't like how they are mounted to the body mounts so I am going to cut off the mounts and weld them to the frame. As far as the people complaining about the powder coating its a rock rail that shits just gonna tear off anyways. I bought mine bare steel and just painted it.
