Just got the new ACE pro series front bumper with 20" light and going to install it tomorrow, has anyone installed one of these yet? just looking for advice. also if anyone knows how to splice the rigid light bar into the fog light wiring so that i can just use the factory fog light turn on switch, that would be awesome.

 

I've had mine on for a few months now. I can't remember anything that stood out during the install. I followed the video on their website and that was it. I used an angle grinder with a few cutoff wheels and a flapper disc to do the cutting and smoothing. It was time consuming, but not difficult. Make sure you rattle can all the bare metal before you mount the bumper. I can't help you with wiring to the factory fog switch. I thought about doing it that way, but wanted to be able to use the light bar with the high beams. If you mount it into the fog wiring, you won't have that option. I ran mine through a separate switch.

God I did it so long ago, I wired both fogs to a pair of Rigid Dually's

I'm pretty sure their were just two wires per for light, just cut off the factory fogs, or tap into them and test them to see which is hot and maybe do a quick test with a meter by turning your fog light switch on and off while checking meter

Does the light bar have just one set of leads for power?

One tap into the factory fogs should do the trick

You'll love the ace bumper, I just replaced both of my bumpers, Ace pro i the back with the integrated tire carrier and then the mid width bumper up front with the bull bar

Very happy with my choices
