Default Ace rails

Does anyone have a picture standing on a set of installed ace rails? Looking for the best rails that double as a step for the wifey and to help in taking top up and down.

Are you looking to see if they can handle someone standing on them, or how it serves as a step? If it wasn't dark out here already, I'd try to help ya out. Maybe someone else will have what you're looking for....

As far as it being able to handle the weight or abuse for that matter, I'd say you're good to go with them.... I've beat mine up pretty bad.

I don't have a pic of anyone standing on them but my wife uses them as a step all the time and I stand on them to put the top up. They're plenty sturdy.

Dark out, but I (215 lbs.) stand on them all the time to strap down surfboards. No give what so ever.

I ended up taking mine off and trading them for a softtop because my wife hated them as a step and said they were more in the way then helpful. she is only 5'4" and said they were just awkward for her. I liked them for stepping on to clean the windshield but they were a mud catcher so you had to be careful getting in and out when running in the slop.

I've never had anything on the side on my vehicles that weren't mud catchers. Other than the obvious, these are really great to be used as steps. And if you still have your Rubicon rock rails installed, you won't need to remove them.

Also, the Rubicon rock rails will act as a guard or protector from boot/shoe marks on the side of your Jeep for when you step up on the Ace rails. So they compliment each other really well.

But since they're made from round pipe, your wife will have to be careful if she's wearing heels.

Take it from a STEELER fan
The ACE rails are perfect for what you want to do with them.... I too use them to step up into my jeep every time (don't know how they'd get in the way) Also they're way better then the stock step rails when your putting your top up and down that's the first thing I noticed
I wouldn't worry about the mud catching comment as mentioned they probably all do buy more so the bottom of the rail not so much the top of them..... Just with snow and slush they like any metal can be a tad slippery just be extra careful. And I've beat them against rocks and they've held up great.... IMO best bang for the buck. No pics of me standing but hope you enjoy my STEELER rig
I'd say go for it and easy PEASY install !!!
Sorry about the poor iPhone pics but the closest I have of the rails is the dog pic, my GF standing beside the jeep shows you it's a perfect step for her and I've been in mud once or twice before lol
OH by the way GOOOOO STEELERS !!! #7 coming this season !!!!!

Getting pretty brave tying not only one, but TWO of those viscous slayers to the side of your Jeep. Better hope they don't spot a small bear or they are liable to drag your Jeep down the driveway as they chase after it for lunch.
