Thanks for all the replies guys! I do still have the rubi rails on...makes my decision pretty easy. Guess I'll be ordering a set of these up!


Robsjeep9....good lookin ride bro...that pic of the jeep covered in mud is awesome!!!

Go to a hardware store (Lowe's or Home depot) and get some step safety strips. They are like the stuff for skate boards, like you find on industrial steps or boats, like sand paper. I placed that on the Ace rails to aid stepping when wet. I stand on them all the time, no issues.

I bought mine for the same reason, so that the wife and kids could get in easier. They are very solid.

x2 on this. I also cut a sheet of rubber conveyor belt and zip tied them to the top to prevent mud splash.
