Default Adj. Control Arm. How much thread should be threaded?

So i had to replace my RC joints with Currie because they were crap.
The currie joints only have maybe 2.5 inches of thread to be screwed into the arm.
How much thread should be screwed in to be safe?
If that makes sense
Thanks

assuming you are refering to a set of lower control arms, you should have more than enough thread if you have them set to the right length. if you are accounting for caster and setting them to 23" eye to eye, you should be fine.

you replaced the joint only on the rc arm with curry ones or the entire arm with a currie arm?

as a starting point for the amount of lift you have, i typically set control arms to the following:

23" front lowers
18-7/8" front uppers
20" rear lowers
rear uppers to be determined by pinion angle

these numbers should help compenstate for your lift. also, i say starting point because not all lifts give you the same amount of height. but, for the most part, these should do the trick.

with those front adjustments i am getting driveline vibrations.
Should i trying making my lowers a little shorter and my uppers a little longer say like 1/4 of an inch shorter lowers and 1/4 inch longer uppers?

Are you sure you are getting vibes from the front? In my limited experience driveline vibes *usually* come from the rear not the front shaft. Just my personal experience.

yes - with those measurements, you will have about +6° of caster and that may be too much for you. reduce your caster so that it's closer to stock (+4°) and that should help.

his profile shows that he has an aftermarket front shaft and 5.13. with these gears, your front shaft will be spinning very fast and with this setup, it is very common for them to cause vibes if you have too much caster.
