Default adjustable trackbar or bracket

Fixing to install 3.5 skyjacker lift kit. Would you recommend using supplied relocation bracket or buy adjustable trackbar. Also do you need anything up front, did not come with anything to relocate. It won't be off-road very much.

Do a search on the forum. Lots of info available. You'll probably find the majority of people will tell you definately an adjustable trackbar, reasons being....the relocation brackets have a tendency to produce too much leverage on the stock mounts causing the welds to break, something you can avoid with an adjustable trackbar

Definitlely adjustable is the way to go for the front. Probably the best decision for the back as well, but I am running the bracket in the rear. I also can fab or weld anything I break, so I can be a little more liberal when it comes to breaking brackets off.

I am running adjustable trackbar, trackbar bracket, and drop pitman. It is pretty good setup.

With 3.5 you will want to do an adjustable trackbar up front. Check with Dave at Northridge4x4.com he can help you out with something good.

I good bracket in the back should work the type that doesn't cuase the bar to act as a lever. Remember the bracket also corrects the trackbar angle in the back.

Thanks for the input. I think for now I will go with the adjustable up front and stick with the bracket in the rear.

Good choice. This happened to me driving on pavement with a relocation bracket:

The next day I foolishly tried moving the Jeep and the whole thing ripped off entirely and I had to get it towed to the dealership. I have the Skyjacker bracket in the rear and its seemed to hold up just fine after 18k miles.

I have the same kit. The back bracket is really durable and you do not have as much side to side force in the rear. The front go with an adjustable I tried messing with moving mine to other holes and drilling the front bad idea. I now am going with the adjustable up front. Do it now before you break it and have to do it anyway.
