Default advice on control arms

i have seen people install various lifts and install either front or lower control arms. i have a TF 2.5 coil lift on order with front track bar and rear track bar bracket and want to install some controls arms to keep ride quality the same and not have any problems with handling or flighty-ness. now the budget doesnt allow to replace all 8 right now. whats the best combination i should do. front upper and rear lowers or front lowers and rear uppers or can i get away with only installing just front or rears?

Do just the front lowers. That will let you set caster to give a more stock-like steering feel. If you had a two door, you might also want to do the rear uppers and replace the rear driveshaft, but you don't.

I think you meant rear. But, I think look at it and if the rear wheels aren't tracking properly with the bracket, then maybe opt for the rear adjustable trackbar. TF has redesigned it and it's supposed to be a lot stronger than in the past. Make sure you get the redesigned one.

I have a 4" lift w/ the RC adj front lower control arms. They work great and didn't break the bank.
