^^Hey Mark, top shelf photos, amazing! It's like the Jeep just jumps out at you in your first photo.

i have been researching tires for a while my self and the falken wildpeak a/t keeps appearing but no one has mentioned them here. i am a new jeep owner and in the market for wheels and tires and am relying mostly on other jeepers to make the most informed decision. any one have any experiences with falken?

I really wish I'd kept more accurate track of that. About 50-60K. But I go off-road and tires worn to the tread indicators don't work well on sand and snow and mud (but not bogging)--which I end up in on some of my trips. For a street driver, they probably had another 15-20K miles on them.

"Overland Journal" just did an AT tire test. Duratracs were not tested. But the winner was the Cooper Discoverer A/T3. "Overwhelming winner and a genuine value." The Falkens had class-leading dry rock traction, excellent initial grip on dry pavement, smooth and quiet. Con's were vague on-center feel, oversteer on dirt, fast wearing.

How can any company do a credible A/T test and leave out the most popular and recommended out there!?!? It's like doing a sports car test and leave the porsche 911 out.?!?

The OP asked for tires with a more aggressive look. Unfortunately, the Falken is a fairly 'un-aggressive' looking tire.

There are plenty of other threads here on them, with very favorable reviews for the most part. I am running them in a 37" and like them just fine. Except for the wimpy non-aggressive look...

They chose the Goodyear Wrangler AT Adventure for the test. Not sure why. They did mention they were looking at improvements in design over the past few years for the tests, so perhaps Goodyear recommended that as their latest example.
