Default Advise on bedlining Rock Sliders.

I'm getting a set of LOD Rock Sliders (bare steel). I plan on bedlining them. But here is my problem. Do I bed line them with a professional job like Line X and have a nice finish. Or rattle can it with Duplicolor or Rustoleum so touch up will be easy and in-expensive. I mean, it is a set of Rock Rails. There's gonna be contact with rocks.
I guess what I'm asking is will Line X hold up to abuse scrapping over rocks? Because if it don't, I'll go with the rattle can, so touch up jobs match in texture and color, Instead of paying Line X to do it every so often.

I just spray canned mine. Two coats of primer, then three of the bedliner. I took my time over several days and was surprised how well it came out.

It's a self leveling spray! No runs, no mess!

Rustoleum bedliner has worked really well for me and touch ups are not noticible

Might be a bit much for what your doing, but wouldn't hurt to look at MONSTALINER.........just like ice cream 39 flavors to choose from. Just as strong as Line X but better than using a spray can.

Has anyone actually hit/scrapped/smashed their bedlined rails on rocks? Does it hold up? Or does it go back to the steel?
