AEV 2" spacer lift+ geo brackets?
Hey guys! Was just looking to get 2 inches of lift on my new 2013 jk sport hard top and was wondering if I would be able to use the AEV geo brackets with their 2" spacer lift to adjust the castor. I know there's a slot for the 2.5" lift and was going to use that. Do you guys think I can run this setup? I'm not going to add any extra weight in the future so will be running light. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

They dont do alot on a smaller lift and are not necessary.
You can run the brackets on the 2" but in my opinion it wont make a difference. I had em on with my 2.5" and did not notice any difference at all. Once I put on my 3.5" lift, I ran it without the brackets and then put them on - hell of a difference.

But seriously, for the same amount of work it takes to install spacers you could install 2.5" springs and have a much nicer suspension. Think it over and save up a few more bux while yer thinking.
On aev's website click on the brackets and you can view the instructions. They have measurements for which holes to use and do not recommend using them if your under a certain height. I have a 2 /2" spacer up front and don't quite meet the specs.
Thanks again guys for the advice. Freewill, I think you have a good point. I might as well just wait and save up. How is the ride though with the 2.5" lift and stock bumpers? I'm not going to add any weight in the future. Maybe the OME Light Duty lift would be better????

What size tires are you wanting to go with? I think tire size is a big factor in lift size. If you want to run 33" just run a 3/4-1" spacer. If you want 35 or bigger a real lift is necessary unless you want to run flat fenders.
