AEV bumper
I installed the same bumper and winch a couple of weeks ago.
No, you have to remove the bumper to install the winch. The winch mount is kindof like a bumper inside a bumper. Removing the bumper isn't hard, but if you have the skid plate you have to remove that first. I hope this helps.

Who did you go through for this bumper?
I'm just wondering who ships this bumper the quickest?
I see you can get it at Quadratec and also AEV's website
aev-conversions.com/products/jk_bumper/
If I remember right one of them takes months to get it out to you? Or both?

I'm not sure who would get you it quicker. I got mine through the mag ( Four Wheeler ) for a instal write up for them, so it may have had a little push to the front of the line ?? I do know that about a month ago AEV did'nt have any to ship out so that may have caused some of the slow shipping ? I'd try and contact AEV and see if they have them in stock ready to ship, if they do I'd assume they would ship it out prety quickly....
I really like how clean your 4dr looks. I have read the hundreds of threads about lifts, tire sizes........ and finally I've seen the look and function I've been seeking. I hope you other posts detail your lift mod as well as this AEV install. I have the AEV bumper and 3/4" spacers (stock front still dives a bit), but have been uncertain about where to go with other mods. I want to use stock Rubi rims as well. Great job!
