AEV drop brackets.

On that note. WOL what sort of items would I need to upgrade further if I went to the recommended EVO plush ride? 3.5 to 4" I'm prob going to need to make a significant upgrade..??
honestly, you've got a lot of stuff now and can still use it. the biggest offenders for you appear to be the coils and shocks and if you were to just change them out, you might find that's all you need to do. in fact, as mentioned, i might even start off with just the shocks and then do coils after the fact if you still feel you want a softer ride. to move in smaller steps isn't such a terrible thing as it'll help you to know what worked.

All things said I sure do geek about learning all this so l appreciate the constant feedback.
I finally got the old bolts off and the brackets on. Just cut the stock bolt and replaced. Initial impressions are it feels better but tomorrow will be a better test. I'll update more tomorrow.. I still think I need the shocks.
I just drove in to work on the new drop brackets and the results are positive. I've driven this same road for the past 8 years so I know it pretty well. There are two significant rough spots and the change in geometry underneath made a significant improvement. Also, the braking seems to be improved as the nose does not dive as much. With that said the negative is pretty obvious. it does lower the LCA's and they become pretty significant targets off road. Its something I'll have to be conscious of when I take the JK up to the mountains. I'm more of a weekend wheeler/camper so I'm not too concerned yet. Once I get a few more mods and can afford to break the JK I'll replace these with CA's anyway.
Overall my ride quality has improved, again, but I can still tell the lift itself is very stiff. Ultimate I am probably going to still look at replacing the TF lift and shocks, but this will be a gradual change and not a rush. I'm still eyeing the Evo plush ride and I just heard there is a 3" system coming out, so I'll be looking in to whether a 3" or 4" system is right for me. I'll also be eyeing bilsteins or better shocks when these eventually leak again.
Conclusion: I recommend these brackets if you're on a budget. Control arms are better, but these do help quite a bit with the impact and flightiness, which I didn't even realize was there till after putting these on.
