Default AEV Front bumper grille....paint or not?

Does the AEV grille corrode if left bare? I am trying to decide weather to paint it or not. I see some have painted them black and others are bare or painted silver.
Maybe someone can chime in who has had one for some time now.

If they are the same as the AEV Hood Vents I was told that they were Satinless Steel.

Yea, I believe they are stainless......but stainless can rust.

The grill is stainless. Only had mine on for about a month but there is no sign of rust or discolouring.

Mine still looks new after going through a winter. I wish I could say the same about my roller fairlead, but that is easy enough to replace.
