Default AEV Fuel Caddy Alternative

I was looking at different rear bumpers and noticed AEV has a 10 gallon fuel tank that goes inside the spare tire carrier. Because it is a bunch of dead space back there I liked the design.

However, I am thinking more along the lines of a stubby bumper, which AEV doesn't offer.

Anybody here know of an alternate or if its possible to mod the fuel caddy to fit a different tire carrier?

The tire carrier from AEV can be put on any bumper really. It mounts to the frame instead of the bumper. If you look at AEVs bumper it is just a hole there. I think the tire carrier is awesome as it opens with the rear gate. I'd say if you want a stubby and the AEV carrier it can be done no problem....just take your time and use a hole saw to cut a hole it the right spot

Hey something like that is what I was looking for! Thanks. Guess I'll have to find some reviews on it now

It's basically the AEV fuel caddy, but with mounts/brackets to allow it to work with any carrier, not just theirs.
