I would love this hood. Wish I had the funds to do this mod!

Thumbs up 2 Tone

I don't think it looks good with it all black. It looks unfinished. Like you got in an accident and then got a hood from the junkyard. Just painting the mesh parts would give you enough contrast IMO.

It doesn't get any better then the ones below.

SIDE NOTE: I noticed that the MW3 edition jeeps have a different AEV heat reduction hood. It doesn't have that mesh in the center. I saw one at the dealership and had a WTF moment.

Here's mine but it's not two tone! However, I will say this, I paid to have it painted before it shipped and the color doesn't match. The company I ordered it from is supposedly is going to reimburse me to have it repaired. I agree with those saying it needs to be white with black accents, if that's what you do.

It is the same hood, but they make it slightly different for the MW3 Edition. Basically they remove at least the center vent. The side ones might just be painted on some that I have seen. From a quick internet search it looks like some don't get the vents even painted on. That appears to be the officaial version by looking on the aev site ht tp://www.aev-conversions.com/vehicles/call-of-duty-mw3

The hood is not an option that you can choose to put on. At least it wasn't last year.

EDIT: I think the only MW3 that got the vents were the ones that went to the SEMA or other shows before the official release. Because they don't get the vents, water will pool up in the center.

Also noticed something here...The 2 rubber stops on top of hood ( for windsheild )...
Can we order hood without these...Don't really need them..Think it looks better also...

Yeah they come without the windshield bumpers. My guess is the owner drilled holes to allow for these and the windshield tie down.

Go get you some black Plasti Dip and do a temporary black hood. If it looks good paint it black if not paint it white. Just a thought
