Do you mean skid plates? If so, I am running some identical to AEV LCA skids, but from ORW. I have TF lift.

Sorry. I mean the brackets that reposition the stock lower control arms for better castor as opposed to using adjustable lower control arms.

on the aev-conversions forum i saw a post that broke down the lift range in inches that the drop brackets would work with. I forget the exact numbers but the measurements were based on the diustance between the frame rail and bump stop pad if i remember correctly. So basically if your measurements fit this range the brackets would correct the caster appropriately. The numbers were put together by aev, so even if you cant find the post, you could give them a call.

Default aev control arm brackets

I am running these brackets with a 2.5" lift and love them. I thought it drove good before I put the brackets on.(I done some trading with a guy that put a new lift on and I got the brackets right.)But after I put them on it was a night and day differance. I really recomend them.

Try reading this thread I started a while ago. It says in there somewhere the minimum height they should be used at.

Thanks for the link blue project. I tried to search for that thread before I started this one but couldn't find it. I figured for $100 these brackets would be worth a shot. I dont have a lift yet but these brackets sound like they could correct castor and prolong the use of the stock front driveshaft?

I have a 2dr and a TF coil spring levling kit. A total of 1.5" overall lift. I measured the height of the bottom of my spring perch to the bottom of the frame and it's 6 inches. I know AEV says 7-8 is ideal. I will being installing a TF 2.5" lift and plan on using those brackets as well. I'm sure I will end up right around 7"-7.5". From everything I've read, AEV is top of line when it comes to lifts and components. As for the front drive shaft, with a 2.5" lift (or less) you "shouldn't" need to replace it. That is exactly what these brackets are for. They will correct the suspension to a much more natural state and prevent you from haveing to replace it!
