Default AEV Lift

I could not find an old thread that answers this. I see that AEV advertises their lift at 2.75" and refer to it as being "tuned". Are they using someone else's lift or is it an in house solution? What makes it "tuned"?

Not positive about the tuned part, but they are using Superlift kits for now. With the purchase of Nth degree I assume that will change.

So I wonder then if the 2.75" height is the tuned part? Perhaps a custom height. 2.75 seem about perfect for the balance between low center of gravity and clearance.
