AEV Lift - Shock Relocation
Time will tell if the bracket fails. Time will not tell that more force is placed on the bracket then when it is mounted in the stock location. That is proven with simply high school physics!!! pick up a book and read a little. You might learn something. The bracket MAY be strong enough to handle the extra forces, BUT there ARE MORE FORCES PLACED ON THE BRACKET. A monkey could figure that out.
Just when I thought I was out they pull me back in! I never said that I disagreed with the notion of "more stress" on the shock bracket, but is it enough to cause a break??? Only time will tell. My intent of my last quote was to put an end to the bantering. If mine breaks I'll let you guys know.
BTW, I don't think it's a good idea that you should question my knowledge about physics. It's my everyday bread & butter. Nice try, here is a banana for for ya, Choppus.

seriuosly, i think this thread has really outlived it's effective usefulness and is quickly spiraling off topic yet again. so, being that the OP had his specific question answered and is satisfied with it enough that he's no longer participating on this thread, i will be closing it now.
