I believe you are thinking of Centramatic wheel balancing system. I had them on my TJ and the worked great. You never have to balance your wheels again, which is especially nice when you have trailed your rig, aired down and perhaps have had the tire walk slightly on the rim, or you chunked your tire, or just have rocks stuck in the treads or mud on the inside of the rims.

Exactly, use the beads and never have to worry about it again. I love them! Very smooth.

I guess my tire place gave me the big weenie! No more buisness with them! And they aired me up to 45 PSI!
