Default AEV premium bumper worth cost?

Ok so my jeep is ordered, but I don't have it yet. I don't really care much for the stock bumper or sahara wheels. The problem is with me being a newb, all of the brands available are so foreign. I don't wanna end up with junk or spend a boatload of $$$ when I don't need to. With that being said, I don't have a problem paying for a quality product. Functionality is important, as well as aesthetic appeal. I'm loving the way the AEV premium bumper looks. Is it really worth the cost? Also looking at some Pintlers for some new rims. Opinions please. Thanks!

These are completely subjective and personal opinion questions. My question is, compared to what specifically?

There's a bumper show off thread you should check out. Also figure out what features you want, i.e. full width, bull bar, stock fog lights, winch, etc and you can narrow your search down to a few. Look through Quadratec and Northridge for more ideas.

Personally, I think AEV is overpriced but if you like it, go for it, plenty of people are happy with their products.

It's a great bumper but not worth the cost. Expect to see rust within a year when driving on salted roads.

If you can afford and like how it looks then yes it is worth the cost. I want one but can not justify it. I really want the back one more.

2 full winters of salted Northwester Ontario roads on my AEV Premium bumper and 0 rust anywhere. A little undercoating oil sprayed on the inside combined with AEVs zinc and triple powder coat is gonna give you better protection from the elements then any other bumper out there. It's a great bumper, well built and matches the Jeep body line perfectly as if it were made by Chrysler themselves.
I would not hesitate to buy this bumper again.

I have the AEV tubeless front and their rear bumper and I have been very happy with both. They fit excellent and I love how they look. I have the Pintlers as well and I'm also pleased with them.

Two years through Pittsburgh winters and I've got rust on all the edges, it's been exceptionally cared for too. I've taken out a deer with it and had no damage so that's one good thing. Total cost was outrageous though, if I were to redo it I'd go PSC, LOD, EVO, or JCR.

Do these AEV bumpers rub when using the Metalcloak 2.5 lift? I ask because I'm rubbing on stock bumpers and I'm not sure if the AEV bumpers will solve this problem. The front has more clearance but not sure about the back.
