Default AEV procal and gear ratio setting

Was wondering, since I have a manual, do I even need to bother with setting this option?

On a side note anyone use the lane change/blinker setting? How do they like it.

Aftermarket gears will change the speedometer readout, in the same manner larger tires will. Using this setting will correct for it. As far as the blinkers, I havent messed with them.

I have it and have a manual and it helps. With 37s and 5.13 gears it helps computer adjust my rpms and speed.

Yeah I updated the speedo yesterday and that worked great. I'm running 37s and 5.38s - so I will update the gear setting too.

Updated the gear setting too. Not sure if I really notice any difference though. But I guess it's better that the computer knows the correct size gear . Well on second thought it does seem smoother and I noticed the mpg indicator now shows 17mpg instead of 11mpg.

Guys, sorry for the little hijack, but is there any use for a stock JKU Islander and this Procal?
Everything is stock except for a throttle body spacer (money wasted), a K&N air filter and a mopar 2" lift kit.

used the blinker fix. Love it. It was a feature that I was missing from my Mercedes that I appreciate.

Well after having adjusted this setting I am very pleased overall. Much smoother acceleration an MPGs (according to the dash reading) has improved. Very pleased with the results of this product.
