I've been completely happy with my Hypertech Max Energy. I wasn't too fond of the price, but that's all the bad I can say.
There's probably a little performance bump there, but the most noticeable improvement is the throttle response. The throttle delay due to the drive-by-wire on my Jeep stock was annoying me to no end. I tested my Hypertech on my stock Jeep before I had the lift done and that delay was virtually gone.
I haven't had any problems, but I asked them some technical questions and they were answered well, so the support is there. And they are present here and respond.

AK4Dave...
I've only been a member of this forum since last month and this is my first JK. My other Jeep is a 2004 Liberty and the only thing I did to it was put bigger tires on it. Never really looked into Modding til I got the JK. I guess that's why I missed the hype. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions in the future about different mods that I'm sure that have been asked before a million times. I try to do all the research I can before buying a mod, but there's nothing like talking to a couple dozen people who have done the mods and see what their results were. I trust that more than a brief discription on a website. Thanks for all the help guys
