AEV Procal and TPMS Issue
Searched and couldn't find my exact problem... so I thought I'd put this out there before contacting AEV.
2012 Sahara Unlimited, Manual 6spd.
AEV Procal for 2012
Did the following:
1. Tire Pressure threshold set to 20psi on the dip switches (and yes, was holding it the right way, switches are correct).
2. I turn the key to ignition, the engine lights come on for a second etc. etc.
3. I plug the Procal into the port, horn honks immediately twice. the seatbelt light flashes twice as well and the low tire warning flashes the words "low tire" and the icon lights up for second.
4. I turn the key to full off position.
5. I unplug the Procal from the port.
Should be good right?
I then let the air out of a few tires down to 10psi. Leave it like that for a bit, drive a short distance on my property.
Still no TPMS light comes on. It's like it's basically just fully "off" now and the threshold settings do not work. I tried some further psi settings and still nothing.
From the other threads I read, I followed the proper procedure of leaving it plugged in until you turn the ignition to off and remove the key. But still the light will not come on at a psi lower than the threshold.
Ideas?
Cheers! ~ Paul.

. just saying
So yesterday my light finally went off??? I haven't messed with my procal yet but I'm guessing it's due to the recent heat. I imagine the expanding caused the pressure to increase by 1 or 2 lbs which was enough to get it turn off.... 1 thing off the list to figure out...
Now onto the right rear thump noise when hit a bump and the left front ping noise around the tire also when hitting bumps..... And the slight pull to the left that the alignment shop wasn't able to correct after 3 attempts... I need a new shop!!!!!!!

I have tried everything I can think of to get the TPMS light off short of calling AEV directly to sort out the issue.
Using the PROCAL I changed the speedo the other day in my '12 Rubicon to adjust for the 35's but it rode like hell with the air set @ 35 so I lowered it to 30, set the PROCAL to adjust to 22 (general consensus to be below the deadband) and still nothing, my damn light is still on and now everytime I start my JEEP the clock resets to NOON. I tried to restore back to factory and restart the reprogramming of the speedo etc and when I get to the TPMS setting the clock goes wacky
Am I alone with this issue?

Maybe disconnect the battery and give it about 45 min to reset then start over with the ProCal. Maybe even set the TPMS to 0 and see if that takes the light away. I did that with mine and it went right off.
I have a 2013 and they have a corrected sequence of dips for us but it says 2013 only. I can say it doesnt work right anyways, the lowest you can go to is 22psi without turning it off and I went snow wheeling yesterday and when I set it 23 psi it was flashing at me and what not so I aired to 16 and same result. No beeping at me though so I didnt care.
My pressure light used to flash every now and then. My tires are at 42psi. I have the ProCal as well. I have spoken to many different dealers about the light issue and it really just boils down to the the TPMS sucks.
