aev rear bumper ?
Instead of the plastic water canisters, they should have made a metal air tank to fill tires. They should have asked for recommendations before creating this disaster. I think there are so many better looking rear bumpers than this one. Their front bumper, however, is the best looking.

I'm planning on getting the AEV front bumper because, lets face it, it's the best looking one ever made for the JK. But i'm with everyone else in that I'm probably going to get the Expedition One rear bumper as it more closely matches thier front bumper.
But then you'd only have the plastic tank on the side.
They look to be removable with a couple of bolts (looks like 5 to be exact) and there will also be a pump they didn't picture like what is on the water tanks on an Adventure Trailer.
It would be cool if they made them hold air... and they were linked with the bumper as one reservoir. Nice for airing up the tires. I've seen other bumper manufacturers do that.
I have no need for water jugs in the bumper.

Not sure if I like it or not. I'm not digging the plastic corners, would like to have seen metal used there and the tire not being centered just sucks. I like how the tire opens with the gate and the looks of center section. Not sure about those side tubes yet. I would like to see some more pictures and price before making my mind up but it looks like I'll be going with the LOD rear.
They took two plus years to design this? I'm really disappointed. It looks like it was designed by a committee and everyone involved got an idea incorporated. Are they trying to go with the modular approach with water tanks being the first option? Maybe air tanks later - more viable I think. What about a winch mount - doesn't look like that will be possible.
Lose the tubes and replace the water tanks with metal and maybe I'll be interested. I'm really disappointed. I waited two years for this? The front bumper just pops, but the rear, it definately doesn't pop.
It also looks a bit bulky, not tucked in nice and tight. I'll have to wait and see a good side picture.
The rear tire carrier. Sorry not impressed here either. Expedition One was copied. Again the tire carrier design/construction looks like an afterthought. As someone else said, Expedition One's rear bumper lines are actually a better match.
Tire Carrier and Bumper are completely independent - not sure exactly how this was done. Bumper attaches to frame. Tire carrier attaches to frame (not bumper). Aren't they still attached to each other via the frame? Maybe the tire carrier has some sort of isolation mount once its attached to the frame.
No provision for "Jerry" cans ?? I thought the "E" was for "Expedition". Obviously carrying water to wash your hands is more important than gasoline.
No integrated receiver hitch? It just hangs off the bottom?
No rear lights? It does appear to have a rear brake center lamp.
After two plus years you should have been able to copy all the good ideas and put them into the bumper design.
Price? Maybe $1,500. I'll be surprised if its below $1,300.
I'll reserve final judgement until I see more photos, but we are not off to a good start.

Why not a dutch oven powered by the exhaust?
