AEV Rear Corners - Tough Enough?
Its 1/8" steel....what ever that would take....just like any other sheet metal.

I'd guess it would be great against rock rash, but buckle on an impact, so a slow speed grind would be ok, backing into a rock at maybe 3 mph would probably dent it.
If it were 3/16" steel, you could back into that rock at maybe 4-5 mph, etc....and dent it.
There's a difference between what the armor can take, and what the JEEP WOULD have taken w/o it...most skid plates get beat up...but, protect the jeep.
On a corner guard, there's no crush space...its AGAINST the jeeps sheet metal....so its PRIMARY advantage after protection from rock rash would be to keep from collapsing the corner by distributing the impact across the face of the plate.
Does that help?
