Default AEV Rear tire carrier with a non-AEV bumper question

I really like the AEV tire carrier with the 10gal gas caddy but not to thrilled about the look of their rear bumper.

Who has the rear tire carrier mounted with another brand'd bumper? How hard was the install for the carrier? Photos?

Or should I just get the AEV bumper & carrier sine I do long camping trips and could use the water tanks?

I guess I could get used to the ugly bumper.

Any AEV rear bumper reviews?

Thanks in advance.

The AEV carrier is designed to mount directly to the frame so it can be used with the stock plastic bumper. Not sure you would want to cut a hole through a steel bumper to mount this carrier.

I don't have any links, but as mentioned I've seen it used with the stock bumper and the Rubicon 10A bumper comes ready for it as well. I also believe it was adapted to. Hansen bumper as well.

Getting rid of plastic bumper, too scraped up and has already flexed & chipped a piece off the bottom of my right rear fender, so I want a steel rear bumper.

I like the looks of the PS rear bumper or LOD rear bumper.

I want the AEV carrier for the gas caddy, don't want roto packs or jerry cans hanging off the sides or rear.

Yep I toyed with the Idea of using an AEV carrier with my XRC bumper when that carrier goes to poop.
