Cut it a little shorter than the directions and work your way out cutting a little more each time. I would use dremel with a metal cutting wheel, you can control the cut better, even though it will take a little longer. Make sure you get a rattle can of rustoleum that will closely match your paint. Make sure you cover any cut metal. I re-spray my cut area every few months cause I know the paint rubs off at times. Seal the area where the snorkel enters the air box really good inside and out, and seal all the holes in the bottom of the air box really well. Jerseyjk08 will also tell you to hose clamp the little hose that attached to the airbox as well.....

where the brackets mount to the body i found some felt pads. Used to put under furniture so you dont scratch hard wood floors. drilled a hole in the center of them and used them as washers between body and snorkel. Once i tightened down the bolts it left about a sixteenth of an inch gap with no contact with the body but solid as a rock

Renz, this is rather easy, I'm just a firm believer in taking your time, this is one of those times, specially with power tools. Let me know when you get it, I will be happy to come up and help you with the install.

Cut it as the directions indicate. They see how it fits. It's possible your latches have stretched a little and wont cause any issues. You can also cut more off if needed

Nothing wrong with using a Dremel..... If you had a choice on which to buy, I would go with a Dremel as it will give you alot more options besides cutting.

I'm going to get the dremel with the cut off wheel attachment because I don't have air at my house and everything I use is electric...even my electric impact gun
