AEV Snorkel ?'s
The bumper is a Smittybilt XRC with tire carrrier. The Hi-Lift is mounted with just some bolts, washers, and lock nuts. I used some rubber grommets over the nut and bolt. The entire mod took 5 minutes. The base of the Hi-Lift stays in the recovery bag and I have a quick release Cotter pin for it. Super strong. Didn't lose any clearance. NO rattle. Solid Solid Solid! Looks like it should be a factory XRC mount location.

I second that man grate job love the look
How hard is it to cut the hood? I do not have any real skill, but I hear shops charging $600+ for an installed snorkel. If all it is is just a cut and some attaching of the snorkel I do not think that is worth all that money.
Just got back from some quick trails. Funny to see you guys talking about this. Their is NO WAY the world I would trail without a snorkel here in Florida.
Here's a bad pic of a SHALLOW dip today. Most of the dips today were about top of the bumper line.

Drying off in a tunnel while it was pouring today

Here's a video from a early December when it was DRY and didn't rain for two weeks.

I have seen the Mopar mounts work with the AEV snorkel. Depending on the light you are using you may need to take something to move the light forward 1", but that is pretty easy to find a bit of metal and drill two holes into to get this done.
