If you're going to wheel it at all, skip the AEV. RK or Teraflex would be better, can't really go wrong with either. The relocation brackets on the AEV can bend or break if you wheel it.

I have the RK 2.5" max travel and love the handling on and off road. Two things I liked more about the RK kit is: 1. comes with progressive rate springs (won't sag with heavy bumpers)
2. The max travel was the most complete kit I could find.

I'm running 35" MTRK and had BAD rubbing when wheeling. I got flat fenders to fix the rubbing + hacked the ends off my front bumper. A friend of mine has the same wheels the RK 3.5". He doesn't have any rubbing on the fenders, but does still rub the bumper.

I've got 4" teraflex and the kit is great, it's been in a few years and still handles great, I still can't believe how much abuse it can take when I'm wheeling and still drive so smooth on my way home. Now if I can just stop the rear tire carrier from rattling.

What other mods did you have to do while installing the 4"?

It was in it when I got it, it's the full $2400 kit(not long arm unfortunately) it came with control arms/track bars, bump stops...it was installed in 2010 by previous owner who never wheeled it. There weren't any scrapes or even mud on the undercarriage, can't say the same now that I own it. Nothing was done to drive shafts if that is what you're asking and it doesn't have any problems, I have a friend with 6" skyjacker lift that had been nothing but problems, even with the extended driveshafts it eats up u-joints every other month it seems like

I have a 3.5" aev lift and I really like it. I drive it daily and more ontoad than offroad (I DO offroad though!) I love how it handles both on and offroad and I get a ton of compliments from people who get in my jeep saying the ride is incredible.

I think it depends on what kind of offroading you plan on doing but to be honest so you don't get control arms with the aev? The brackets have done me fine for a year now and when I find that they're not ill pick some up and install them then.

The one thing I did but ASAP though was jks disconnects.

On saying that I've heard great things about all lift companies and you won't be going the wrong way with any of them. Try going to a jeep meet and see the lifts in person. See what you like and do not like and go from there.

I can say though, a lot of people say aev is overpriced for what you get but I love it and I LOVE my bilsteins it came with

Guys

Thanks for all the compliments! We sell our products without shocks and bump stops as we feel those are best taylored to a given application for most of our systems! We will be releasing our Dual Sport Systems really soon with our 2.0 RRD Remote Reservoir Shocks and bump stops as a complete package!

Items like customer uses, wheel and tire combo, and fender combo really effect what shocks and bumps you really want to have to compliment a system. Some shock valving is more aggressive than others providing a firmer on highway ride, but take high speed off-road use much better.

If anyone has any questions and want to talk about their builds or uses, give us a shout. We will be more than happy to chat with you.

All the brands mentioned are great products and they are all unique in their own way. Choose the best one for you and your given uses! Good Luck with your builds..

I'm putting 35's on. This is my daily driver and I do a lot of highway driving. It's a 2013 with 3.73's
Can I get some input if you wouldn't mind and opinions. (If your gonna call me a noob and tell me to look around. I have.)
AEV 3.5 SC
Rock Krawler 3.5 Flex
Tera Flex 3" kit.
Help a new guy out to do this right. The first time!! Thanks
Thanks for considering TeraFlex for your JK. Now you can run a TeraFlex 25" coil kit or a 3" kit for those 35's.

TeraFlex 2.5" coil/shocks

TeraFlex 3" coil/shock/FlexArms
I would add an adjustable front trackbar to it.

How much would that 3" system go for and would I have to make any other modifications to the jeep to have it highway but offroad friendly?
