Default Affordable tire carrier search.

Im currently running with 35" duratracs on my stock carrier, with no rear bumper. Ive comsidered the ebay knock-off rear bumper with tire carrier for 500$. But ive also considered going with the evo rear shackle inserts and buying a tire carrier .
Any suggestions? ( on a budget)
Thanks

Check out the Teraflex HD hinges, and the Or-Fab carrier. Both very good options in the same price range

So in other words- buy the ebay knock off xrc type rear bumper with carrier for 500$ or spend 500 +$ on a carrier alone and still need to buy a bumper.

Teraflex Hinge is a solid choice.

I would question the quality of the eBay bumper personally. The TF and Or fab carriers have a good track record. I like to buy once and be done

to spend that type money on JUST a tire carrier is kinda silly in my opinion. Save your money a buy a rear bumper with a tire carrier. Whats better then a sweet new bumper anddd a tire carrier for a couple hundred more??

I was in the same boat as you man. Needed a spare, front bumper and rear. I ended up "doin the unthinkable" for the front and just gonna throw the spare in the back for now. I was gonna order the rear too but I like the look of the carrier and EVO shackles so once I save up some more coin ill prolly get the or fab carrier...unless the EVO one magically drops about $1500 lol

Seems crazy to not get the "unthinkable" from ebay. I can understand the price of bumpers being what they are, but the carriers seem ridiculous.

Friend of mine had the knock off ebay rear and carrier, had it installed in October, he went to open it last week, whole fckn thing broke and nearly took his leg off. As soon as he opened the latch the welded swivel part snapped. Imagine if that happened on a freeway doing 65. Save a few more dollars and get an Ace bumper and carrier, I got mine for around 760 shipped.
