after-lift problems

The trac bar bolts really should be torqued to 125 ft/lbs, and the jam nut should be tight. The other bolts have torque setting too, but may not be as important as the trac bar bolts (I torqued all of the bolts when I installed my lift)

Also when the trac bar (and the other suspension components) were tightened they should have been tightened with the weight of the Jeep on them (not with the wheels just hanging on a lift).

As mkjeep pointed out, there is instructions for centering your steering wheel - which is the last thing you do (after everything else is correct). Here’s one link: http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk-write-...ation-write-up (See Step 55).

This really does make a difference and is very easy to do. I just can't believe the mechanic that put on the lift did not know how to fix the problem.
