Hi! Aside from the re-call (TSB) regarding the "squeeking clutch syndrome" have I missed any posts declaring an all-out wide-spread clutch failure problem with the JK? So far mine has been just fine but I'm a very conservative driver. I too am planning on installing a higher quality after-market clutch system (entire not just pressure plate) when, not if, the time comes. Take care... Mike

I got my entire clutch replaced under warranty and after 500 miles the clutch statrted squeeking again. I am 100% sure it will fail in the near future.

This time I am determined to replace it with aftermarket heavy duty kit not just the clutch but entire assembly if possible.

Clutch is squeeking when I press the clutch pedal when it is hot. If you have the grinding noice most likely your clutch plate is gone rubbing on pressure plate. Apparently the springs and pressue plate are not good quality thats why we are having so many issues with JK clutch...
