Is it acceptable to 4-wheel with rims that are not hub centric?
I know most of the aftermarket 5” x 5” rims are NOT hub centric. Including the Cragar Soft 8’s that interest me. (I want black rims) And some are, like the new Poison Spider bead locks.
I wish we had a list of the rims that are hub centric, even if it was only a partial list.

I am running nearly the cheapest steel 15 inch rims on the market.
They are black.
They are not hub centric.
I drove in excess of 80mph the other day.
I did not die nor did small children catch on fire

They do that you know. Usually when my assault weapons get out of the safe at night (sneaky little buggers) and they go out on random acts of violence there will usually be at least 1-2 small children running around on fire that I have to put out.
Luckily the local fire dept will refill a Co2 extinguisher for free in case of child fire.

This is why lugs have a cone shape to them.
theoretically a lug centric wheel on a hub centric rotor could cause wobble but this would require the bolt pattern to be fawked from the factory on either (slim) using the wrong lugs (common) or improper lug torquing technique (common)
