Default Air Dam

How important is the little air dam under the front bumper? I rub a little at full lock when flexed, and am trying to decide if I should trim or remove. Any pics of trimmed ones?

It just helps kick the air under the jeep. Gives it a smoother entry instead of it slamming into the axle and stuff under there. You "may" notice a loss in MPG.

Remove it. It looks better and you won't rub anymore. The loss in MPG is minimal if any at all. Worse case scenario you keep it and put it back on if you have any regrets.

your hood will flutter...bounce up and down a little as you gain speed. the stock hood latches are pretty weak, there's alot of play there....the air damn deflects air down under the vehicle and away, if removed the air is then absorbed within... you can counter the flutter by purchasing daystar hood wranglers for $25.

You get hood flutter even with the air dam.

It's useless. Toss it.
