Yup cut mine on day 1 with the 35s. I did get some good hood flutter on the highway with the dam on and interestingly enough once I replaced the stock POS front bumper and removed the POS air dam I don't get any hood flutter! :confused:

Even though my OE front bumper is the european one, it has the same air dam which i cut the first day i installed 35inch tires. So go on and cut or even remove it. I dont think it will hurt your Jeeps aerodynamics so bad

Put a skid plate in its place.
Better protection, and will retain all the controversial benefits.

The air dam creates a low pressure area behind the front axle which pulls more air through the rad, if you have to replace it do so with a metal rock guard air dam.
