Default air pressure for km2 35in

For highway driving what are you guys with km2 35 in or similar set your air pressure at. my dash shows 50lbs 48lbs . it sure makes for rough ride. Whats a good median for comfort and tire life? this is what the tire shop put in, i thought it seems alittle high.

I use 30 psi.
At this pressure the tread sits evenly, so the tire wears evenly.

haha yeah do yourself a favor and get some air out of those!!! What width wheel are you running them on, that makes a difference. Skinner the wheel the less psi you need for that ideal even contact patch. I'm running 35x12.5x15 km2's on 15x8 wheel at around 28-30 psi. I have never done chalk test or anything, but that's been the general consensus on a good range Your ride will improve greatly compared to 48 psi

I run 26 in mine. Do the chalk test. It will tell u what to set the pressure at.

I'm at 28psi. Do the chalk test like everyone suggests. Its depends if its 2 or 4 door, bumpers, lift, etc.

so how do you do a chalk test? I assume it is done to make sure the entire tread is making contact with the ground.


Im running these on factory 10th annivesary rubicon rims. i thank they are 7.5

I agree. Drop to 30, and do a chalk test to fine tune them.

That is correct. With the 7.5" wide wheel, you may find more towards the 28 psi mark to be ideal. For the chalk test, start a 30, draw a line across your tread, drive a little, and keep dropping it 1 psi till the entire mark is wears off evenly
