Cool no problems

i removed mine with no problems, the only thing i noticed was that the Airaid puts the wires for the sensor right over the upper radiator hose, the K&N is on the bottom but i still had the move the wiring around the hose, i don't know if it would be a problem or not but those hoses get HOT and from the pic i saw looks like a bad place to run wires, just a thought, and don't cuss me under your breath for me not breaking mine

Default Installation experience

Here is my experience with the Airaid installation:
  • I removed the temperature sensor using a very large slotted scredriver with a couple of drops of silicone lubricant to help is slide out more easily.
  • I have no whistle except for a rare barely audible one.
  • I realized a gain in MPG (about 1 to 1.5) after having disconnected the battery for the control module to "re-learn". (I neglected to disconnect the battery during the initial install)
