The Stauns are very well made and accurate. I recommend them.

++ The Staun are great. Screw them on, setup rest of jeep and by then you are aired down and ready to go.

Thanks for all the input. Seems like Staun is the way to go. Guess I will have to make a trip to 4WD soon and pick some up.

I like my ARB Tyre Deflator. I think it's the best. Just had to throw my two cents in. You have to babysit it, but it removes the valve stem (can't get lost because it never sees the light of day) so it's fast. It also has a readable gauge, so it's accurate and you can change your mind on the fly about how far to air down.

Ive got a home made one my dad put together like 30 years ago. Also have a Viair deflator and the filler hose that came with my Viair compressor so I can let down three at once. Usually by the time I get the 3rd set up its almost time to pull the first one so it works out ok.

I use Staun deflators as well but I leave 2 set at 6psi and 2 at 12psi.

I like being able to pick on or the other depending on the trail. Some trails are fairly easy and often have long sections of high speed dirt roads so I run 12psi those days.

It takes twice as long to air down but I'm still done before most the guys using other methods.

I use ARB's EZ deflate tool. Quick n easy! Gets lots of use. Actually just used it yesterday spinning out high centered on a pile of logs. Good stuff

Currie EZ deflator. Same as the ARB EZ deflator but about $10 less...about $20.
