Default AirRaid vs K&N CAI

Even though the title sounds like a fight, the purpose of this thread is not to bash either product. When shopping, I could not see a pic of either, so I bought mine based upon what was available locally.

Here is a K&N installed by Gunny and posted in another thread:

The Airraid tube appears larger, there is a reducer just prior to the Throttle Body

Are there any other people that can post pics of any other CAI's that are on their vehicles?

Forgot to mention, it cost me $200 on sale at 4 wheel parts and it took 35 minutes to install.

I just posted the comparison for other people to see.
I'm already happy with mine (I already bought a second one for my wife's '08 Sahara), as I'm sure Gunny is happy with his.

modified airaid, fabbed a piece for the frt, sealed it, prefilter and used pipe insulation to seal it against the hood. Better airflow than stock and pretty well protected against water.

That's pretty good. When it comes time for me to do the snorkle, I intend to try to fab up an airbox that will accomodate the Airaid setup I currently have. I'm a big fan of those Outerwears (or similar) pre-filters, they work great!

Ordered it at O'Reilly's Auto parts. You should be able to order it from any auto store that handles Airaids.

You can get it direct from Outerwears as well, just know the filter size you have. Nobody carried it around me.
