Default Alignment?

Steering wheel clocked to the right. Traction control and esp bas lights on. Terrible gas mileage. Am I correct in assuming that my front end needs aligned?

Loosen the 2 bolts (15mm I believe) on the drag link turnbuckle and rotate until the steering wheel is centered. It's easiest with another person but can be done alone. It may take a couple attempts before it's centered up perfectly.

Just for clarity: Only two things on your Jeep frontend to be aligned, unless you've modified your components: Toe in and steering wheel centering. An alignment shop will likely still charge you $80, or so, and both are easily performed by you (with a helper) in your driveway.

Thanks. On a side note, are you a Huey or 60 pilot? If so, I probably assemble your engines. As frightening as that might be.

What was you doing to get your steering wheel out of whack , I ask because the issues you said could also be to tie rod to much toe in or out will give you the same problems

Results from being a jackass. Minus caster and camber. Those have been off since the lift
