Alignment help
So I hit a deer. Bent the tie rod. Bought a new one. Installed it. Took it to alignment shop. Pulls to the left. They say it's the best they could do. Took it to a different shop. They say I need a mopar shim kit. I left. Went to youtube. Got the toe in 1/8". Still pulls to the left. The setup-295 Nitto Trail grapplers on stock '12 Rubi wheels, TeraFlex leveling kit. Had this setup before the deer hit. Nothing else looks bent. Ball joints tight. Help.
Where exactly did you take the brunt of the damage? I'm only left to guess there at the front driver's tire since pulling left now? Do you have the recent alignment specs? Do you happen to have any specs from pre-accident? If you bent your TR, is there any chance you hit the wheel or C hard enough that it could have tweaked caster on that side vs. previous?
Have to think that the "mopar shim kit" they were suggesting is what we could commonly know as cam bolts?

Have to admit that my first thought was that you were referring to offset ball joints. Wasn't expecting what came up with a quick search.
Is this the what they were talking about? So basically ripping apart the diff and swapping parts/rebuilding?

I've rotated the tires. I've removed and reinstalled the the stabilizer. I don't have the specs anymore. Original ball joints, 80k miles. Caster? Is that adjustable on Dana 44's? How is that done? Why is it no matter what's done to the toe it still pulls to the left?

My thought was you damaged a belt in a tire or the stabilizer was charged which would cause the pull.
Caster is adjustable, usually with cam bolts or geo correction brackets. With the leveling kit, you probably don't have either (or a need for them).
