Default Alignment question

i am putting my 3" lift on saturday but i do not have my wheels and tires yet. I work at a car dealer so i have a alignment rack 10 feet form me as i type this. MY question is....can i do the alignment after the lift install with stock tires on then bolt the new wheels and tires on monday and still be in spec? wheels are unsprung and should not effect suspension geometry right? the ride height will increase wit the 35" but the suspension should be the same i think....

what kind of 3" lift are you installing? if you don't have adjustable control arms, the most you can do is recenter your steering wheel and that can be done anytime. if you do have adjustable arms, you can set your caster and then install your new tires later and without any problems. same goes for recentering your axle with an adjustable trackbar

I haven't installed my 3" Teraflex lift yet, but have it all here at the house. I noticed that there are threaded holes for the grease zerk on both sides of the heim joint of the control arms- one is plugged and one has the fitting. I know the arms should be installed with the fittings in a certain up/down orientation depending on the arm. If I find that the correct length had the fitting on the wrong side, can I simply swap the little allen plug with the fitting? Seems obvious, or is that much fine tuning (half turn of the heim joint) not that critical?
