Default All terrains that ride nice?

Can anyone recommend and all terrain that has a soft ride, in the stock 255/75/17 size? I have the Goodyear silent armors an they ride rough as hell with an 8 ply sidewall and the Kevlar belts. I feel every bump and crack in the road.

How far have you lowered the air pressure? When I first bought my Revos I thought I was screwed........it was like having boulders for tires. Until I realized that they had 80 psi in them. Dropped it down to 30-35 and it's REAL nice. And the tires are wearing great as well.

30 psi cold. I've gone down as low as 27 with no difference.

I really dont think they have 8 sidewall plys. 3 or 4 most likely. And 4 or 5 on tread making it a 8 ply tire. Lt tires tend to be stiff or ride rough if you dont have alot of weight on them.

Im running MTR's with Kevlar load range E...I run 28lbs in them and its not bad...See if you can find a load range C tire...Maybe a BFG AT woud do the trick.

I have had the Pro Comp A/Ts on for almost 40,000 miles. They are 305/70R16s so I guess a little larger than what you are looking at. I keep them about 27psi and it is pretty smooth. Two ply sidewall, they are actually really tough in the rocks, I rashed them up really good this last summer on some really fun trails. They were pretty pricey but I will probably get another 10k out of them at the least. Good luck

Yeah I def don't want another stiff tire. Something with a softer sidewall should help.
