Default American Eagle Wheels - 186

Anyone have American Eagle wheels model 186 in a 16x8 size? On their website it lists these wheels as having 4" of backspacing, which seems a little much (or little - don't know the correct way to describe backspacing). I'm basically wondering how much these are going to stick out from the fenders with a 285/75/R16 tire. About 1/2" more of tire plus 2.25" of backspacing = 2.75" from my calcualations. i would just go out and measure the extra room to the edge of the fenders but I'm still waiting for my jeep.

I like this style of wheel (similar to Mickey Thompson Classic II's) and I want the American Eagle ones because they are coated to stand up to winters here, however I don't want my wheels sticking way out of my fenders. If anyone could chime in that would be greatly appreciated.

I have 285/75/16's on AEV rims with 4.6" bs. My tires are right at the edge of the upper flare and stick out maybe a 1/2" at the bottom of the flare. If you want to keep them underneath the flare I would not go any smaller than 4.5" bs.

PS: If you are looking at the teflon coated AR rims order now. I tried to order some (AR Chamber)and AR said it be Dec before I saw them. Maybe just that model rim but they made it sound like all the teflon coated ones.
