another 33 or 35 tire ?
I got a rc 2 1/2 spring lift on my 08 jk to allow 35 tires on it,I have stock 3 73 gears automatic tranny, cant make up my mind if i should stick with 33 tires, or go to the 35s like i planned, dont want to regear, most driving not on interstate, and most the time it is 65 mph or under, i know if i settle for the 33s i wish i would have bought 35s any pros and con opinion would help which i should choose
thanks in advance!!

I am running a TF 2.5 Coil lift with shocks with 35's and Stock gears (3.73) and it is very bearable. I do alot of city driving, and it isn't all that bad on the highway as long as you keep under 75. 35's will fare much better off road as well and they look great
Im in the same boat....but I also think I am going to go with the 35" tires.....I wish my current tires didnt have so much tread! When my Jeep gets lifted it will look like a shopping cart
The 35's fill the wheel well alot better, but more importantly they really soak up the terrain off road.

i do a good bit of intersate travel and highway travel that similar to interstate and i dont really see the need to regear.
Off road there will be a lttle rubbing at full stuff, 1" BL should reduce that a lot
I have 4.11, and find it is hard to keep @ 60, but put it up to 70mph and it just hums along
city driving I have not really notice much difference

I have the same dilema. I just recently added 3/4 inch spacers to my springs and think Im just going to go with the 35's. I wont be regearing for awhile since I only have 3000 miles on the odometer. And I have been pricing tires for the stock 17's and the difference between the 33 and 35's in price are around 10-30 dollars a tire. So I would suck it up and just go with the 35's.

Your 35's may end up being near 33" once they are installed.
Also, remember you have that handy little OD off button. I have some problems staying in gear with the 4.10s when I'm between 50mph and 60mph (where I do a lot of my driving). We have a lot of hills and this is where the problems arise. However, with the OD off, I have plenty of power to stay at cruising speed up the hills and never shift down into 2nd unless I really push the pedal hard.
Above 65mph, you can cruise with the OD on unless you hit a fairly steep grade.
As others have said, go with the 35's!
