another backspacing question... help?

Default another backspacing question... help?

ive decided on these 16x8" wheels and im wondering if im gonna have any problems with +5 offset, 4.625 BSM and 35" at tires. probably gonna have a budget boost on ... thanks yall'

You just said 35" tires, no mention of width, which would be important, as that would tell me if the BS was correct.

It looks like the rims have ~ 4.6" of BS, which should be fine for a 12.5" section width, if that's the nominal sized 35" tire you meant.

Most of the tires in that size range are fine with 4.5" - 4.75" BS, with some clearing with even 5" of BS.

oo. thanks alot... and i did mean for a 12.5" tire. and hypotheticaly speaking what would a 4" backspacing do?

it would make the tire stick out so it hit the fender on the way up, why?

the vendor im purchasing these wheels from says the backspacing is 4" but the eagle alloy website says that they are only available in 4.625" back spacing. im ordering them but im 100% shure they are the 4.625" back spacing.
