Default Another Rear seat decline thread

I just traded in my 2 door JK for a 4 door and noticed how much the rear seat angle sucks. So I am attempting to make a rear seat decline kit, for less money than the ones that are sold online. So I ordered some parts from an online Metal Store. This store will cut the flat bar to the length that you request. I got the dimensions from another member. I just ordered them, so now all I have to do is drill 1/2" holes and paint them, once I get them. All in all I didn't really save to much money. I will add some pics once the material arrives.

Aluminum Rectangular Bar - 3/8" (A) x 1 1/2" (B)
Custom Cut:5" - 3 $2.54 $7.62

Aluminum Rectangular Bar - 3/8" (A) x 1 1/2" (B)
Custom Cut:2.75" - 4 $1.40 $5.60

Shipping Method: UPS Ground

Sales Tax: $ 0.00

I considered that, but I wanted the pressure to be more evenly distributed, like it is stock.

Update: the material came in. I drilled a half inch hole in each price. 2.5 inches from the end centered in the 5 inch long pieces and 1 inch from the end centered in the 2.75 inch pieces. I then primed and painted them and they came out perfect.

The JL is the current model wrangler now, so the majority of wrangler interest is going to naturally gravitate towards that direction. If you think the JL has nothing to do with it, check out all of the forum activity on the JL Wrangler forums.

I think that poster responded to the thread title which mistakenly states decline (and must think there's a decline in JK interest due to the JL), and I assume the OP meant recline.
