Ok, well some of the threads on drive shaft issues have scared me. I have a 2" BB and installed the 4dr springs on my 2dr, which seems to have given me about 3" lift. Mine is a 2dr auto, so I've been a little worried. I thought about just taking the springs back off and installing the oem, but I'm not sure if I need to.

My front started slinging grease at the transfer case within a few miles after my 3" teraflex lift (which is just over 4" on a 2 door). I switched out to the JE Reel OE replacements. Had some vibration issues. Sent back the rear. They said it was a bad u joint. It is now smooth after reinstall.

I ordered mine from Northridge4x4.

Just messed mine up this last weekend. 4 in. of lift on front with 11,000 miles on it. I think it hit the skid plate. I never had problems before but I just put some Teraflex shocks on it. They extend longer then the Skyjackers I had on it and I think that was part of the problem.

May be dumb question, but does an offest front axle (after a lift) tend to cause the rubbing issue...or no?

Default driveshafts...

yup. i got 10.5k miles on the factory's with the lift installed at purchase.

front and back both needed replacing. went with rubicon express. cost about 8 clams with change.

wished i had done it sooner.

as for the vibrations after the new shafts went on, i upgraded my rear control arms. just drover her back from orlando to g'ville in the rain tonite and couldn't be happier!

The stock ones work great until they don't. Wished I would have at least changed the rear out when I did the lift. Running a FT 3" Ultimate and the rear went out about 350 miles from home. So, I replaced both driveshafts after having to rent a car to get home, then back to get in two weeks.
